Forex News: 05.04.2007 Industrial production output in Great Britain decreased by 0.2% in February
The index of industrial production in Great Britain decreased in February by 0.2%, compared with 0.1% increase in January, the National Office of Statistics reported today.Industrial production in mining and quarrying sector rose significantly in February, by 2.6%, while output in energy sector rose by 0.2%. In all other sectors industrial production decreased. Manufacturing output fell in February by 0.6%, compared with 0.2% decrease in the preceding month.
At the annual rate industrial production rose by 0.3%, compared with 0.4% in the preceding month. The index of manufacturing output increased by 1.2%, compared with 2.0% a month before.
