Forex News: 04.04.2007 Activity accelerated in UK services sector in March
According to the survey of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply, activity in UK services sector accelerated in March.
CIPS services index, reflecting several aspects of economic development, including employment, prices and economic expectations, rose in March to 57.6 points from 57.4 points in the preceding month. The analysts expected that the index would fall by 57.1 points.
Positive data may support British pound sterling consolidate its position toward other currencies in rise of expectations of BoE interest rate’s increase.
