Forex News: 13.04.2007 Consumer sentiment falls to 8-month low
As gas prices climbed higher, U.S. consumer sentiment fell in early April, according to the Michigan consumer sentiment index released Friday.
The index fell to 85.3 from 88.4 in March. It's the lowest since August. Economists expected the index to slide to 87.0.
Consumers' expectations for inflation over the next year rose to 3.3% from 3.0%. The current conditions index dropped to 102.4 in April from 103.5 in March.
