Forex News:13.04.2007 The deficit of US international trade unexpectedly narrowed in February

The Ministry of Trade reported today that the deficit of US international trade narrowed to $58.44bln. January index was revised from $59.9bln to $58.88bln. The analysts expected that in February the deficit would increase to $60.00bln.

Imports decreased in February to $182.43bln from $185.66bln in January. Exports fell to $124.00bln from %126.79bln.

The unexpected decline of US international trade deficit is most likely to slightly consolidate dollar rate.
