Forex News: 12.04.2007 Euro Zone GDP increased 0.9 pct in the fourth quarter
Gross Domestic product of the countries sharing the Euro has increased 0.9% in the last three months of 2006 thanks to rising exports, according to the latest report by the European Statistics Office.From the fourth quarter of 2005, GDP grew 3.3%, these figures come out in line with the economist’s expectations as well as with Eurostat’s earlier estimations.
Exports have been the main contributor to Euro Zone GDP growth they have posted a 3.6% rise from the previous quarter, and a 10% yearly increase.
