The Canadian currency was mixed against its world counterparts in trading on Thursday morning in New York. The loonie moved with little economic news from the area through the morning.The Canadian currency moved little against its American counterpart in action on Thursday morning. The loonie held in a range against the buck with a high of 1.0568 and a low of 1.0590. On the whole, the Canadian currency is moving within the range of the past month, held after hitting a multi-year high against the greenback.
In trading against the euro on Thursday morning, the Canadian currency saw weakness as action progressed. The currency slipped to a mark of 1.4434 in the early hours and held near that mark into the mid morning action. Overall, the Canadian dollar is near a six week low against its European counterpart.
