Energy Prices Mixed; Crude Climbs Back Above $69, Tuesday, June 19, 2007 2:56:58 PM

Energy prices were mixed on Tuesday in U.S. trading. Crude oil hovered around the $69 mark, after rebounding from a morning slip. Natural gas, heating oil and gasoline also saw drops.

Crude oil saw choppy trading on Tuesday in the U.S. Light sweet crude was at $69.08 per barrel, up a penny. It fell as low as $68.40 in the mid-morning, but then rallied back up as high as $69.56 at around 1:20 p.m. ET. Oil eased back over the next hour.

Natural gas for July delivery dropped on Tuesday to its lowest level in nearly three months in U.S. trading. Prices fell 16 cents to $7.53 through mid-day trading.

Heating oil remained slightly down on Tuesday in U.S. trading. July-dated heating oil was at $2.0255, down 0.87 cents for the session.

Gasoline was down on Tuesday in the U.S. RBOB gasoline for July delivery was at $2.233, down 3.13 cents. The drop took gasoline away from a three-week high.
