Scandinavian Currencies Varied On Tuesday,Tuesday, May 15, 2007 10:39:17 AM

The Scandinavian currencies were strong against the dollar on Tuesday while seeing choppy action against the euro. The currencies moved as little economic news was released from the area.

The Swedish krona climbed to a mark of 6.7751 against the buck on Tuesday. On the whole, the krona is at a weekly low. In trading against the euro, the krona held between a high of 9.1877 and a low of 9.2057. Generally, the currency is at a weekly high.

The Norweigan krone rose sharply to 6.0260 against the buck on Tuesday morning. In general, the Norwegian krone is at a weekly high. Versus the euro, the currency moved between a high of 8.1783 and a low of 8.1963. Overall, the currency is near a 5 week low.

The Danish krone advanced to 5.4885 against the dollar on Tuesday morning. The currency is at a weekly high against the buck. In trading with the euro, the Danish currency bounced between a high of 7.4475 and a low of 7.4531. Overall, the currency is near a three week high.
